CeruStop is Phonak’s stick-style wax guard: each pack has 8 guards on applicator sticks. One end removes the old guard, the other presses the new one into the receiver or shell. If your current pack is a round rotating disk, you need CeruShield Disk instead.
Which Phonak aids use CeruStop?
The 2026 Audéo EON and the Infinio range (Receiver 6.0), Phonak Virto custom in-the-ear aids, and the older behind-the-ear and receiver-in-canal models from before Marvel, such as Audéo B, Audéo V, Bolero and Naída. Audéo Marvel, Paradise and Lumity receivers use the CeruShield Disk instead. If you are unsure, look at the pack you have now or send us a photo and we will tell you. If you use EasyGuard domes on an EON or Infinio you will change guards far less often.
How to change a wax guard
- Take a fresh stick from the pack. One end is empty, the other carries a new guard.
- Push the empty end into the old guard and pull it straight out — don’t twist.
- Turn the stick round and press the new guard in until it sits flush, then pull the stick straight out.
Change the guard once a month, or sooner if the aid sounds quiet or muffled. Never pick at a guard with a pin.
