The StreamLine Mic does two jobs. Clip it to the person you most struggle to hear — your partner in the car, a lecturer, the quiet colleague across the meeting table — and their voice is sent straight into your hearing aids from up to about 20 metres away, above the background noise. And because it is a Bluetooth receiver, it connects your aids to things that cannot stream to them directly: a laptop for video calls, a tablet, an older phone, a TV or radio with Bluetooth.
Everyday uses
Restaurant with one important person — clip it on them. Church, lectures, the theatre — set it on the lectern or hand it to the speaker. The car — clip it on the driver. Work — Teams and Zoom calls from your laptop with the mic as your headset, hands-free.
Which aids?
Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX, IX and T IX, Styletto IX, Active, Active Pro and Active Mini IX, Motion Charge&Go IX, Insio Charge&Go IX and the AX / X generations. Not compatible with the Pure Charge&Go BCT IX (which has Bluetooth Classic built in and does not need it) or the Silk. Battery lasts a full day; charges by USB.
