Everyday noise — shops, cafés, the school gate
The 1IX uses Signia’s automatic directional microphones to turn down noise from behind and beside you and keep the voice in front clear. It does not have the conversation-tracking AI of the 3, 5 and 7 levels, which is why it costs less — it suits quieter lives and mostly one-to-one conversation.

SoundSmoothing takes the sting out of sudden clatters (basic level here) and eWindScreen deals with wind on walks (basic level).

7IX, 5IX, 3IX, 2IX or 1IX — which one is right for you?

Every level shares the same body, the same 36-hour battery, the same Bluetooth Classic streaming, hands-free calls, telecoil, app and remote care. What changes is how much conversation intelligence is switched on and how finely we can tune it.

The 1IX is the entry point to the IX platform: solid, clean amplification with automatic noise handling, the app and remote care, at the lowest price. If your hearing loss is mild and your days are mostly quiet, it is all you need.

Battery and charging

Rechargeable lithium-ion with up to 36 hours on a charge including 5 hours of streaming — the longest of any rechargeable aid with Bluetooth Classic — so even a late night out is covered. Drop them in the Signia charger overnight (included). If you travel, the optional portable charger carries three extra full charges in its lid, no socket needed.

Calls, TV and streaming

Bluetooth Classic is the reason to choose the BCT: it pairs with iPhones, every Android, laptops, tablets and Bluetooth TVs without special adaptors — the same Bluetooth your headphones use. Calls are hands-free (your voice is picked up by the hearing aids) and you can answer or end a call with the button. A built-in telecoil connects you straight to hearing loops in churches, theatres, banks and at counters. Add the Signia TV Sound streamer for direct stereo TV sound.

The Signia app, Assistant and remote care

Volume, programs and streaming on your phone, plus the Signia Assistant — a chat that fixes “too sharp”, “too much noise” or “can’t hear my wife” on the spot, 24/7. Our audiologist fine-tunes your aids remotely by video call through Signia TeleCare, free, for as long as you own them.
