MaX is Signia’s first hearing aid with four AI networks working together (Signia calls it Acoustic Intelligence™). One tracks where each person around you is and lifts their voice; one understands what kind of background noise you are in and turns down just that; one adapts the whole sound to the room; one looks after your own voice. On the 3MaX the conversation enhancement runs at standard strength. In plain terms: you follow the conversation as it moves around the table instead of catching every third word.

Your own voice
The first thing most new wearers notice is that their own voice sounds odd — loud, hollow, boomy. Own Voice Processing AI recognises your voice and treats it separately so you sound like you from day one, and on MaX it is set up automatically — no calibration appointment.

Moving through the day without touching anything
Ambient Scene Adaptation AI works out whether you are in a quiet room, a café, the street or the car and adjusts by itself; a motion sensor keeps you aware of traffic when you walk and focuses forward when you sit.

Cutlery, doors and wind
SoundSmoothing 2.0 takes the sting out of sudden clatters and eWindScreen 2.0 deals with wind on walks (standard level on the 3MaX).

Phone calls, TV, laptops — and the future
MaX is Signia’s most connected aid: Bluetooth Classic for any phone, laptop or tablet, the newer LE Audio, a telecoil for hearing loops, truly hands-free calls, and it is Auracast™-ready for the broadcast audio arriving in theatres, airports and gyms (switched on by a free update by March 2027).

7MaX, 5MaX or 3MaX — which one is right for you?

All three share the same chip, the same four AI networks, natural own-voice processing, the same 30-hour battery, the same connectivity and the same eight colours. The difference is how far the conversation features go and how finely we can tune the fitting.

The 3MaX gives you the new MaX chip, all four AI networks, natural own voice and the same battery and connectivity as the flagship at the lowest price — conversation enhancement at a standard level rather than high or maximum. Best value if noisy outings are occasional.

Battery and charging

Rechargeable lithium-ion with up to 30 hours on a charge including streaming — a full day and a late evening. Until 31 October 2026 every MaX pair ships with Signia’s Portable Charger instead of the standard desktop charger — a free upgrade worth £144.99. It carries around four extra full charges for trips with no plug socket (single aids come with the standard charger), and the Dry & Clean charger adds drying and UV cleaning; both are in our accessories section.

Calls, TV and streaming

Bluetooth Classic pairs with iPhones, every Android, laptops, tablets and Bluetooth TVs — the same Bluetooth your headphones use — and LE Audio is built in for newer phones. Calls are hands-free with your voice picked up by the hearing aids, and you answer or end a call with the button. The telecoil connects you straight to hearing loops in churches, theatres, banks and at counters. Add the Signia TV Sound streamer for direct stereo TV sound.

The Signia One app, Assistant and remote care

Volume, programs and streaming on your phone, plus the Signia Assistant — a chat that fixes “too sharp”, “too much noise” or “can’t hear my wife” on the spot, 24/7, and learns what you like. Our audiologist fine-tunes your aids remotely by video call through Signia TeleCare, free, for as long as you own them.

Tinnitus

Built-in tinnitus relief: four Ocean Waves sounds, a soft static therapy signal (16 / 5) and Signia’s patented Notch Therapy for tonal tinnitus. Ask us to switch it on when we program your aids.
