The Signia Silk 1X is the battery-powered version of Signia’s ready-to-wear invisible hearing aid, on the earlier Xperience platform. It is the most affordable way to get a completely-in-canal aid that fits the same day, and because it runs on a tiny size-10 battery there is nothing to charge — you simply change the battery about once a week. Be clear before you buy: the Silk is about discretion and does not stream phone calls or music (the app controls it). Everyday conversation
The 1X gives clean, automatic amplification tuned to your hearing test with Signia’s noise management taking the edge off busy rooms. It does not link the two microphones for directional focus (that starts at the 3X), so it suits mostly one-to-one and quieter situations.

Invisible, and ready to wear today
The Silk sits fully inside the ear canal, so nobody sees it. No custom moulds: soft silicone click sleeves in four sizes give an instant, comfortable fit and you swap them when they wear.

Nothing behind the ear
Perfect with glasses, sunglasses, masks and hats — nothing to knock off or tangle.

Phone calls
Twin Phone sends a phone call held to one ear to both ears at once, so calls are clearer even though the Silk does not stream Bluetooth audio.

Every level is the same tiny shell with the same battery, click sleeves and app control. What changes is how well it handles noise and how finely we can tune it.

The 1X is the entry point — invisible, instant-fit and tuned to your test, for mild loss and mostly quiet days.

Battery

Runs on a standard size-10 zinc-air battery — about 70 hours of use, so roughly a week for most people. Batteries cost pennies, are sold everywhere, and there is no charger to carry or forget. If you would rather never buy batteries, the Silk Charge&Go IX is the rechargeable equivalent.

Control and remote care

The Signia app on your phone adjusts volume and programs and connects you to our audiologist for free remote fine-tuning through Signia TeleCare. Prefer buttons? The optional miniPocket keyring remote does the same. There is no phone or TV streaming and no telecoil on the Silk.

Tinnitus

The 1X does not include Signia’s tinnitus therapy — if tinnitus is part of your picture, choose the 2X or above.
