The short answer

The Phonak Audéo EON Sphere costs £2,425 a pair for the E90, £2,305 for the E70 and £2,140 for the E50 at Aid My Hearing, or £1,045–£1,190 for a single aid. That is £1,000–£1,500 less than the typical UK clinic price for the same device, and it includes programming by a UK audiologist, a 5-year warranty, a 60-day money-back trial and free aftercare. Until 31 October 2026, every pair also comes with the £369.95 portable charger free.

EON Sphere prices at a glance

Phonak sells the Audéo EON Sphere at three technology levels. The chip, body, battery and Bluetooth are identical across all three; what changes is how hard the AI noise-separation works and whether it switches on by itself. Here is what each costs with us, and what the same aids typically cost through a high-street clinic.

Until 31 October 2026: every pair of EON Sphere ordered from Aid My Hearing comes with the Phonak portable charger (normally £369.95) in place of the standard desktop charger, at no extra cost. It is added to your basket automatically when you choose “both ears”.

What the price includes

A cheap headline price is easy to find. What matters is what sits behind it, so here is exactly what you get when you order an EON Sphere from us:

  • Programming to your own hearing test by a UK audiologist before the aids are posted — not a factory default you tune yourself.
  • The charger. The standard desktop charger (Charger RIC E) is in the box; until 31 October 2026 pairs get the Phonak portable charger instead, which holds about three extra full charges without a socket.
  • Receivers, domes and a starter care kit, chosen for your ear and your hearing loss.
  • A 5-year manufacturer warranty on both aids.
  • A 60-day money-back trial. If they are not right for you, you send them back.
  • Free remote aftercare for as long as you own them — fine-tuning by video call through the myPhonak app, with no appointment fees.

What it does not include is a new hearing test if you do not already have one, and in-person appointments. If you need either, tell us and we will sort it out before you spend anything.

Why the same hearing aid costs so much less online

The EON Sphere you buy from us is the same sealed unit a clinic would hand you, with the same Phonak warranty. The gap in price is not the device; it is the building. A high-street clinic carries premises, reception staff and a diary of in-person appointments, and the cost of all that is folded into the price of the aids — which is why one pair can be quoted at £3,500 or more.

We work differently. You send us your audiogram, our audiologist programmes the aids to it, and we look after you afterwards by video call. You still get a qualified UK audiologist making every clinical decision; you just do not pay for the chair you would have sat in. If you would like to read more about how that works day to day, our guide to remote hearing aid fitting covers it honestly, including who it does not suit.

E90, E70 or E50 — which price is the right one for you?

The honest answer is that most people do not need the E90, and we would rather tell you that now. Every level has the HYPERSONIC AI chip. As you go up the range you are paying for how hard it works and how often it decides for you.

Pay £2,425 for the E90 if…
  • You eat out, socialise in groups or work in busy places most weeks
  • Soft or distant voices are a struggle (Speech Enhancer is E90-only)
  • You never want to touch your phone — the aids make every decision

Pay £2,305 for the E70 if…
  • Your week mixes normal social and work settings with some noise
  • You still want the AI switching itself on automatically
  • You would rather put the saving towards a TV Connector

See the E70 →

Pay £2,140 for the E50 if…
  • Most of your days are quiet — home, one-to-one, TV
  • You are happy to tap the app on the way into a noisy restaurant
  • You want the newest Phonak chip at the lowest price in the range

Not sure which level your hearing justifies?

Send us your audiogram or book a free ten-minute call. Our audiologist will tell you straight which level makes sense for your hearing test — including when the cheaper one is the right answer.

One ear or two?

A single EON Sphere costs £1,045–£1,190, so buying one aid rather than two looks like a sensible saving. For a small number of people with hearing loss in one ear only, it is. For everyone else it is a false economy: two aids work as a pair to locate sound, separate speech from noise and cut listening effort, and the EON Sphere’s AI mode and StereoZoom focus both depend on having an aid on each side. If you are unsure, send us your audiogram — we will tell you which you need, and we will not sell you two if one is right.

Three ways to pay less for the EON Sphere

1. Buy a pair before 31 October 2026

Every Sphere pair ordered from us until the end of October includes the Phonak portable charger — normally £369.95 — in place of the standard desktop charger, at no extra cost. It is added to your basket automatically when you select “both ears”. If you were planning to buy the portable charger anyway, that takes the real cost of an E90 pair to under £2,060.

2. Choose the EON R if your days are mostly quiet

Phonak’s Audéo EON R is the same 2026 body, 38-hour battery, universal Bluetooth and myPhonak app without the separate AI noise chip. Four levels run from £1,615 a pair (E30) to £2,250 (E90). In quiet and moderately busy places it hears the same; it is only in genuinely loud rooms that the Sphere pulls ahead. We have written a plain-English comparison of EON R and EON Sphere to help you decide whether the Sphere chip is worth the difference for you.

3. Consider the outgoing Infinio Sphere

The Infinio Sphere Ultra i50 at £1,910 a pair carries the previous generation of Phonak’s AI noise separation. The EON is 25% smaller, 20% lighter and more efficient, but if the last decibel matters less than the budget, the Infinio remains one of the best-value flagships in the UK while stock lasts. Our Infinio Sphere buyer’s guide explains the levels.

Spreading the cost

Klarna is available at our checkout, which lets you split the cost of your order into instalments; the exact options you are offered depend on your basket value and Klarna’s own eligibility checks. We are also exploring longer interest-free plans so that a pair of EON Sphere can be paid for monthly — let us know if you would like to hear when that launches.

How the EON Sphere compares on price with other 2026 flagships

The Sphere’s closest rival is the Signia Pure Charge&Go 7MaX, which brings its own AI approach, keeps a telecoil for hearing loops and offers Signia’s Own Voice Processing. The two are priced within a few hundred pounds of each other at the top of the range, and which is better depends on what you struggle with most — we have compared them in detail in EON Sphere vs Signia MaX. Ready to order — or want a price in writing?

Every EON Sphere we sell is programmed to your own hearing test by a UK audiologist before it is posted, backed by a 5-year warranty and a 60-day money-back trial. Pairs ordered before 31 October include the £369.95 portable charger free.

Frequently asked questions

How much is the Phonak Audéo EON Sphere in the UK?

At Aid My Hearing the EON Sphere costs £2,425 a pair for the E90, £2,305 for the E70 and £2,140 for the E50 (October 2026). One aid is £1,045–£1,190. The price includes programming to your hearing test by a UK audiologist, the charger, a 5-year warranty, a 60-day money-back trial and free remote aftercare.

Why is the EON Sphere cheaper online than at a clinic?

It is the same sealed device from the same Phonak factory. The difference is overheads: a high-street clinic has premises, reception staff and a diary of in-person appointments to pay for, and that cost is built into the price of the aids. We programme your aids from your audiogram and look after you by video call, which is why the same E90 pair is typically £1,000–£1,500 less here. You still get a qualified UK audiologist — you just do not pay for the building.

Is the Phonak EON Sphere worth the money?

If your main problem is hearing in noisy places, yes — Phonak measures the E90’s speech-in-noise benefit at up to 10.2 dB, which in real terms is the difference between coping in a restaurant and joining in. If most of your days are quiet, the Audéo EON R gives you the same body, battery and Bluetooth for less, and we would honestly rather sell you that. Read our full EON Sphere review for the detail.

Can I spread the cost of the EON Sphere?

Yes. Klarna is available at checkout, which lets you split the cost into instalments; the options shown depend on your basket and Klarna’s own checks. We are also looking at longer interest-free plans — if you would like to be told when those launch, drop us a line.

Do I need to buy two hearing aids?

If you have hearing loss in both ears — which most people do — two aids work together to locate sound, separate speech from noise and reduce listening effort, and the EON Sphere’s AI noise mode and StereoZoom both rely on a pair. If your loss is in one ear only, one aid is the right answer and we will tell you so. Send us your audiogram and we will give you a straight recommendation.

What is the cheapest way to get a Phonak EON Sphere?

The E50 at £2,140 a pair is the lowest-priced way into the Sphere chip; the main thing you give up against the E90 is that you switch the AI mode on yourself in the app rather than it switching on automatically. Until 31 October 2026 any Sphere pair also includes the £369.95 portable charger free, which makes this a good month to buy.

Does the price include a hearing test?

The price includes programming to a hearing test you already have — most people bring a recent NHS or high-street audiogram, and if yours is older than about two years we will arrange a fresh one. If you have never had a test, contact us and we will sort one out before anything is ordered.
