How these prices compare

High-street chains sell the same manufacturers in packages rather than by model, so a like-for-like comparison is hard to make from their websites. The independent Which? survey of hearing aid buyers found the average paid for a pair was £2,914 at Boots and £2,143 at Specsavers; Boots’ cheapest advertised package is £695 and Specsavers advertise from £500. What you get for the high-street price that you do not get online is face-to-face fitting, ear examination and real-ear measurement, which some people need. Our Boots vs Specsavers vs online comparison sets it out, and our guide to the cheapest hearing aids worth buying covers the budget end honestly, including the NHS.

Not sure which level you need?

Send us your audiogram and tell us where you struggle. Our audiologist will recommend a model and level with the exact price from this page, and will say if a cheaper level, or the NHS, is the better route.

Frequently asked questions

How much do hearing aids cost in the UK in 2026?

At Aid My Hearing, branded Phonak and Signia hearing aids cost from £1,050 to £2,425 a pair, or £545 to £1,190 for one ear, with a 5-year warranty, audiologist programming, remote aftercare and a 60-day money-back trial included and no VAT added. On the high street the same brands are sold as packages; the Which? survey average paid for a pair was £2,914 at Boots and £2,143 at Specsavers. NHS hearing aids are free.

Why is a single hearing aid more than half the pair price?

A single aid is supplied with its own charger (or battery pack), its own sleeves or domes and the same programming appointment, and the manufacturer prices one aid at more than half a pair. If you have a loss in both ears, a pair is both better value and the right clinical answer: two aids are how the brain separates speech from noise.

What is the difference between the 2-year and 5-year price?

Only the length of the manufacturer’s warranty. The hearing aid, programming, aftercare and trial are identical. We offer the 2-year option where it lets us match the cheapest UK seller; on the other models the price includes five years as standard.

Is VAT added to these prices?

No. Aid My Hearing is not VAT registered, so the price shown is the full price you pay.

What is included in the price?

The hearing aid(s) in your chosen colour, the charger or batteries, domes or sleeves in several sizes, a starter supply of wax guards, programming to your audiogram by our audiologist, remote fine-tuning by video call, free remote aftercare for as long as you own the aids, the manufacturer warranty shown, tracked UK delivery and a 60-day money-back trial.

Can I pay monthly?

Yes. Klarna is available at checkout to spread the cost. Your agreement is with Klarna; the price of the hearing aids is the same.

Do these prices change?

We check every price against the UK market each week and update this page when anything moves. The prices above were checked on 26 October 2026. If a product page ever shows a different figure, the product page is the price you pay.
